Allan joined Yale PGC as a partner in 2018 with the merger of Yale & Partners LLP and Parker, Garber, and Chesney LLP. He is an expert on the uses and taxation of trusts and estates as well as tax planning. Allan serves as a consultant to leading financial institutions and wealth managers on the use of trusts, as well as providing advice to financial institutions on the effect of U.S. taxes on Canadian residents and is a Member of the Ontario and Illinois CPA associations and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

He has extensive experience providing tax planning advice for professionals, those in entertainment and sports industries and has consulted on tax issues with various dental organizations including Nova Scotia Dental Society, New Brunswick Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association. Allan is also a U.S. tax practitioner addressing cross-border tax compliance for individuals, corporations, trusts and estates.

Allan has served on multiple boards of directors. He served on the Financial Review Committee for Leo Baeck Day School and was Chair of the Golf Committee for the Alzheimer Society of York Region Charity Tournament, as well as serving as Secretary for the Alzheimer Society of York Region board of directors. I was the treasurer of The Dunblaine School, a school for children with learning disabilities, and was a board member for the Interactive Management Simulation program for Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.

Allan holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and political science from York University.
